QUALIFICATIONS TO BECOME AN APPROVED TRAINING AGENT
- Employer is within the geographic area of the program standards
- Cannot be registered to another committee as a training agent for the same occupation in Oregon
- Must have continuous coverage of workers compensation insurance
- Oregon CCB Registration (or Oregon Corporation Division)
- Employer must abide by all Oregon Wage and Hour laws including PWR
- Employer must provide proper supervision and maintain ratio of journey-level technicians to apprentices (Click here for current Apprenticeship Ratio Data)
- Respond to JATC annual wage survey
- Attend any mandatory training agent meetings
- Ensure apprentice safety, attendance of required related training, and monthly progress report submissions
*HVAC Training Agents must have a LEB holder per apprentice
